Repair costs can vary depending on what’s wrong with your computer. First, we’d need to diagnose the issue, which is usually a quick process. Once we know what’s going on, we’ll give you an estimate.
For simple fixes like a software issue or a small part replacement, the cost will be lower. But for more complex repairs, like replacing a broken screen or a faulty motherboard, the price will go up. We always try to keep the cost as reasonable as possible and will make sure you understand the details before moving forward with any work.
You can also check out our pricing page on our website for more details about our standard rates. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask—we’re happy to help!
Typically, a computer diagnosis takes a day or two, depending on the issue and how difficult it is to replicate the problem. In most cases, we’ll have the diagnostic results ready by the next day.
For simple repairs, like reinstalling the operating system or removing malware, we can usually complete those within a day or two after you check in your computer.
For more complex repairs that require replacing parts—like a screen, power supply, keyboard, or battery—it will take a bit longer. Since we don’t keep replacement parts in stock, we’ll need to order them from our suppliers, and that can take a few extra days depending on availability and shipping times.
We’ll keep you updated on the progress and let you know as soon as we have a better idea of the timeline.
We don’t offer on-site repairs at this time. You’ll need to bring your computer to our location near Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood. That way, we have all the tools and equipment we need to properly diagnose and repair your computer.
Since we operate from a residential home location, all repairs are done by appointment only. In most cases, we can schedule your appointment for the same day or the next day, depending on our current workload. We always do our best to accommodate you and check your computer in as quickly as possible.
Feel free to email, call, or send us a text message to schedule an appointment—whichever is most convenient for you!
Right now, we don't offer free diagnostics. Diagnosing computer problems properly takes a lot of time, and often it’s more work than the actual repair itself.
To make things easier for you, we offer three types of diagnostics:
Standard Diagnostic:
This is for regular laptops and desktops that don’t need a lot of disassembly. We can usually figure out the problem pretty quickly without taking apart the whole computer.
Advanced Diagnostic:
This is for custom-built computers, gaming PCs, gaming laptops, All-in-One computers, or any computers that have been physically dropped. These types of computers can be more complicated, and sometimes we need to do more testing or take things apart to figure out what's wrong.
Liquid Damage Diagnostic:
This is for computers that have been damaged by spills or drops. We’ll carefully check to see what parts might be affected and let you know what needs repair.
We’ll always let you know the cost and process up front, so you know what to expect before we start.
It's always a good idea to back up your data before bringing your computer in for diagnostics or repairs. While we take every precaution to keep your data safe, there is a small chance of data loss during repairs, especially if there’s a hardware failure. Since some issues are unpredictable, we strongly recommend having your data backed up, just in case.
For some common repairs, we can give you a free estimate just based on what you tell us about the problem. Here are a few examples of things we can usually estimate for you:
- Battery replacement
- Screen replacement
- Keyboard replacement
- Fan replacement
- DC jack replacement
- Upgrades to your hardware, etc.
For more complicated problems or things we’re not sure about, we’ll need to take a look at your computer first. We will need to conduct a diagnostic to assess the problem. Once we understand the situation, we’ll be able to give you a full repair quote. Some examples of problems that need a diagnostic include:
- Computer not turning on
- Laptop battery not charging
- No display or video
- Random restarts or error messages, etc.
We’ll always explain the cost and what needs to be done before we start any repairs.
We do everything we can to keep your data safe during the repair. We will never erase or reinstall your operating system unless it's absolutely necessary to fix the issue. If we do need to make any changes to your data, we’ll always let you know beforehand and ask for your permission before we proceed.
That said, it's always a good idea to back up your data before bringing your computer in for repair. While we take all precautions, in some rare cases, data corruption can happen due to failing hardware—something that's unfortunately out of our control.
Yes, we offer a 30-day warranty on all repairs, covering both parts and labor. This ensures that your device will work reliably after we’ve fixed it. If you experience any issues with the repair during that time, just let us know, and we’ll take care of it right away. We’re committed to making sure you’re satisfied with our work.
We specialize in both hardware and software repairs for most PC and Mac computers, including laptops, desktops, and All-in-One computers. We also offer limited support for Microsoft Surface devices. Our services include replacing failed parts, computer upgrades, some component-level repairs, and even micro-soldering jobs.
However, we do not repair phones or tablets at this time.
Absolutely. We can install your part as long as the replacement part you provide is the correct one for the repair. However, we won't be able to offer any warranty on the replacement part provided by you.
If you decide to supply your own replacement part, please ensure that it is functioning properly. In the event that we install your part and discover it is not working, you will incur the installation labor charge regardless.
For quick computer repair quotes, please submit as much information about your computer as possible. I cannot provide a quote without knowing the full computer model number and detailed description of the problem. For physical damage repair quotes, a photo of the damaged area will help a lot. Please send the photo via SMS text message to the phone number shown above.
